Russia, Turkey to debate Black Sea deal alternate options

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart will focus on a proposal by Moscow for a substitute for the Black Sea grain deal once they meet this week,
The assertion was made by Lavrov’s ministry on Wednesday.
Under the plan, Russia would ship one million tons of grain to Turkey at a reduced value, with monetary assist from Qatar, to be processed in Turkey and despatched to international locations most in want, the Foreign Ministry stated.
“We consider this project as the optimal working alternative to the Black Sea deal,” it stated, referring to the association that Russia give up in July.
