An artillery strike that hit a refugee camp close to Myanmar’s border with China has killed at the very least 29 individuals, in one of many deadliest assaults on civilians for the reason that return of navy rule.

The incident was the deadliest since an air strike in Myanmar’s unstable Sagaing area in April that killed scores of individuals together with civilians.
The navy usually denies concentrating on civilians and blames “terrorists” for violence.
Laiza is the capital of KIA, among the many largest of dozens of ethnic teams which have been battling the navy for many years.
