UAE’s non-oil overseas commerce hits document AED 3.5 trillion in 2023
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has touted the nation’s achievements in non-oil overseas commerce because it reached a document excessive of AED 3.5 trillion ($952.93 billion) in 2023.
Taking to his official social media channels, Sheikh Mohammed stated the UAE delivered on its promise of constructing 2023 a “record economic year” regardless of the UN reporting a “global decline in international trade”.
Sheikh Mohammed added how the nation established “new bridges of cooperation”, with “foreign trade with the 10 most important trading partners (jumping) by 26 per cent, with Turkey by more than 103 per cent, with Hong Kong-China by 47 per cent, and with United States by 20 per cent… within just one year”.
“The UAE today is at the heart of the international trade movement,” His Highness burdened, including that the nation’s “motto will remain that we say what we do and do what we say”.
