UAE stands in solidarity with Iraq over marriage ceremony hearth

The UAE has expressed its honest condolences and solidarity with Iraq after a fireplace ripped via a packed marriage ceremony corridor late on Tuesday, killing over 100 folks and injuring many extra.

In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its condolences to the households of the victims and wished a speedy restoration for all of the injured.

Survivors stated lots of of individuals have been on the marriage ceremony celebration, which adopted an earlier church service, and the fireplace started about an hour into the occasion when flares ignited a ceiling ornament.

Iraq’s Interior Ministry stated it had issued 4 arrest warrants for the homeowners of the marriage corridor, state media reported, and President Abdul Latif Rashid referred to as for an investigation.
