UAE delivers extra support to Sudanese refugees in Chad

An Emirati humanitarian delegation has distributed extra meals parcels to Sudanese refugees and the area people within the metropolis of Amdjarass, Chad.

The support has been organised by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation (Zayed CHF) and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF), in coordination with the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed Obaid Al Dhaheri, Head of the ERC Delegation in Chad, mentioned the UAE humanitarian staff would scale up their efforts to alleviate the struggling of the Sudanese refugees as a result of present state of affairs within the nation.

The Emirati humanitarian workforce at present in Amdjarass is continuous to evaluate the wants of Sudanese refugees and the area people, by discipline visits and carefully observing their dwelling circumstances, to supply for his or her important necessities, he added.

Al Dhaheri mentioned that the humanitarian workforce will coordinate with the native aid companies in an effort to ship meals parcels to the most important variety of beneficiaries.
