The UAE has strongly condemned the burning of church buildings and dozens of properties by extremists in Pakistan.
In an announcement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) counseled the efforts and diligence of the Pakistani authorities and the measures it carried out in confronting these felony acts.
The ministry affirmed the UAE’s rejection of all practices aimed toward undermining safety and stability of the area, stressing that hate speech and extremism contradict worldwide efforts to unfold the values of tolerance, coexistence and peace amongst folks.
Furthermore, the ministry confused the necessity to respect spiritual symbols and keep away from incitement and polarisation at a time when the worldwide group must work collectively to reaffirm a dedication to upholding the common ideas of tolerance and peaceable coexistence.
