UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has mentioned he feels “ready and excited” forward of his six-month mission to the International Space Station.
He joins a workforce of three different crew members onboard a Falcon 9 rocket as a part of the SpaceX/Nasa Crew-6 mission.
Speaking at a press convention for the launch, Al Neyadi defined the extraordinary pressures he and his fellow crew members will bear.

After the press convention, the crew received the possibility to signal the convention room door, a practice that has been maintained for years.
