Seven jailed, fined AED 50,000 in UAE for sorcery

Seven folks have been sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined AED 50,000 for participating in sorcery.

The defendants had been referred to the courtroom by the UAE Public Prosecution after it acquired a petition from a person who fell sufferer to the schemes of the defendants who claimed they may “heal people”.
