RTA launches free good umbrella service

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with UmbraCity, a Canadian good umbrella share service firm, has launched a ‘free of cost’ umbrella service at Al Ghubaiba Bus and Metro station.

This progressive proof-of-concept service is designed to boost the walkability of Dubai, offering residents and guests with a handy and sustainable option to protect themselves from the solar and rain.

Aligned with the visionary Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, this initiative underlines Dubai’s dedication to fostering a sustainable, wholesome, and inclusive city setting.
