A brand new fleet of latest college buses are on the street at this time taking 240,000 college students to colleges throughout the UAE, on the primary day of the brand new time period.
Speaking on Dubai Eye 103.8’s Business Breakfast Abdullah Almoosa, performing Executive Director of the transport sector for Emirates Transport says over 700 new buses have been added to the fleet and have been geared up with new know-how to make journeys even safer.
“We have equipped a lot of our buses with technological advancements to make sure students are transported in a safe manner,” he stated.
A complete of 8,500 college buses make up the entire fleet, with the brand new buses utilizing know-how comparable to movement sensors and a panic button for the driving force connecting which connects them to a centralised operation room in case of any emergency.
Almoosa stated it’s been a busy summer season for Emirates Transport with over 600 new drivers being employed and skilled to deal with an inflow of latest college students. “We have new drivers and supervisors who all needed a lot of training ahead of time and we’ve done all the required maintenance work on all the buses to make sure everything runs smoothly.”
