The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced plans to assemble a bridge connecting Dubai Islands and Bur Dubai.
The bridge, spanning 1.42 km can have 4 lanes in every route with a complete capability of 16,000 automobiles per hour in each instructions.
Dubai Islands will have direct entry and exit factors on the Bur Dubai aspect via the brand new bridge stretching throughout the Creek between the Infinity Bridge and the Port Rashid Development Project.

The initiative is a part of the broader Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project, which is being carried out by the RTA at an estimated price of AED 5.3 billion.
