Emiratis injured in Turkey earthquake airlifted to UAE

Three Emiratis who have been injured within the latest earthquake that struck Turkey have been repatriated to the UAE.

The medical evacuation was carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), in coordination with the Ministry of Defence, as a part of the ‘Gallant Knight 2’ operation to help earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.

The UAE nationals had sustained reasonable accidents within the earthquake that struck southern Turkey at daybreak on Monday, February 6.

MoFAIC has urged Emiratis within the quake-hit nations to report and talk emergency circumstances on the hotline 0097180024, along with registering within the Twajudi service.
