Election campaigns for FNC candidates start

The election marketing campaign part for candidates working for the Federal National Council (FNC) 2023 elections begins at present, as per the timetable permitted by the National Election Committee (NEC).

The marketing campaign part will final for 23 days, concluding on October 3 and through this era, candidates have the chance to current their electoral programmes and interact in actions to steer voters to decide on them within the fifth cycle of FNC elections. 

The NEC urged all candidates to stick to the manager directions for the elections, together with rules and marketing campaign guidelines, in addition to take into account the penalties which may be imposed towards violators, stressing the significance of reviewing the “Candidate and Voter Guide”, which affords complete solutions to all election-related questions in a simplified and comprehensible format.

The government directions stipulate that ceiling of spending on electoral promoting should not exceed AED 3 million.

September 25 and 26 are the ultimate days for candidates to withdraw their names.
