45 recruitment companies docked for working with out licence

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has penalised 45 recruitment companies within the UAE for working with out the mandatory licences, with 4 firms in Al Ain fined AED 50,000 over the past two weeks.

The companies in Al Ain have been closed and the case referred to the Public Prosecution, the Ministry mentioned in a press release on Sunday.

The workers have been supplied momentary lodging and procedures initiated to switch them to MoHRE-approved home employee recruitment institutions.

The violations within the recruitment sector had been recognized from 2022 to this point, following an intense inspection marketing campaign carried out by MOHRE, together with groups from Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, and the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi – Al Ain department.

The authority has cautioned the general public in opposition to coping with unlicensed recruitment companies and urged them to examine its web site for the complete listing of authorised firms and report “illegal practices” by way of its official channels or name centre (600590000).
