Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates believes ChatGPT, a chatbot that offers strikingly human-like responses to consumer queries, is as vital because the invention of the web, he advised German enterprise every day Handelsblatt in an interview printed on Friday.

“Until now, artificial intelligence could read and write, but could not understand the content. The new programs like ChatGPT will make many office jobs more efficient by helping to write invoices or letters. This will change our world,” he mentioned, in feedback printed in German.

ChatGPT, developed by U.S. agency OpenAI and backed by Microsoft Corp, has been rated the fastest-growing shopper app in historical past.
