Manchester City agree £77 million charge for Josko Gvardiol

Treble-winners Manchester City have agreed a £77 million deal for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.

The Croatian is predicted to fly to England this week for a medical, earlier than becoming a member of the Premier League Champions.

Gvardiol has performed 87 instances for Leipzig since signing for them from Dynamo Zagreb in 2021. The left-sided defender will add energy to Pep Guardiola’s squad and would be the membership’s second main signing of the summer time following the arrival of fellow Croatian star Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea.

Manchester City takes on Arsenal within the Community Shield this Sunday earlier than kicking their Premier League marketing campaign off away to Burnley on August 11.
