New pension regulation applies to Emiratis beginning work from Oct. 31

UAE nationals, who’ve began work “for the first time” from October 31, shall be lined beneath the brand new pension regulation, authorities have introduced.

They should be employed by entities linked to the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA), which incorporates federal and authorities sector corporations within the UAE, other than these in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. 

All affiliated personal corporations within the UAE, other than Abu Dhabi, will even be included. 

The authority added that present staff will proceed to be lined beneath Federal Law No. (7) of 1999 on Pension and Social Security.

The new regulation goals to boost the flexibleness of the pension and social safety companies within the UAE.
