Dubai Police obtain over 16,000 calls amid unstable climate

Emergency calls to Dubai Police have surged as heavy rain continues to brush throughout the nation.
The pressure acquired 16,610 calls over a 24-hour interval between 12:00 pm on Wednesday and 12:00 pm on Thursday.
As many as 15,286 of those calls have been made to the emergency hotline 999, whereas 1,324 calls have been made to the non-emergency quantity 901.
Lieutenant Colonel Bilal Al Tayer, Acting Director of the Command and Control Centre, emphasised the readiness of Dubai Police to deal with any emergency scenario.
He urged motorists to train warning throughout hostile climate situations and to be careful for flash floods and robust winds.
Meanwhile, beachgoers are suggested to take needed security precautions and keep away from getting into water our bodies throughout unstable situations.
