Elon Musk’s Twitter has suspended a number of organisations’ account, citing a violation of the platform’s ‘age requirements’. At least two distinguished news organisations, Asian News International (ANI) and New Delhi Television (NDTV), have had their social media profiles blocked on Saturday. After a pair hours the accounts had been once more restored.

Twitter has suspended the account, in line with ANI editor Smita Prakash, citing the requirement that or not it’s at the least 13 years outdated.

“In order to create a Twitter account, you must be at least 13 years old: Twitter has determined that you don’t meet these age requirements, so your account has been locked and will be removed from Twitter,” Prakash uploaded a screenshot of Twitter’s assertion eradicating the account.

However, Twitter says, after restoring the account, some data will completely be eliminated:

(i) Tweets posted earlier than person was 13

(ii) Likes person gave earlier than turning 13

(iii) Direct Messages despatched and obtained earlier than age 13

(iv) Profile particulars apart from deal with, date of start, folks you observe, and the individuals who observe you, will probably be eliminated

(v) Moments, Lists, and collections person saved
