UAE ‘Union for Human Rights Association’ formally declared, registered
The “Union for Human Rights Association” has formally been declared and registered as a public curiosity affiliation within the UAE, with headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Licensed by the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, the Association contains 16 specialised human rights consultants.
The Association will promote respect for civil, political, financial, social, cultural and environmental human rights for all segments of society by supporting the basic values and ideas of human rights enshrined in worldwide legislation, the core human rights conventions, and worldwide humanitarian legislation.
It goals to supply understanding, recommendation and opinions on nationwide reviews submitted by the State to worldwide human rights our bodies and mechanisms, and to cooperate with them to advertise human rights and obtain sustainable improvement targets.
The Association may also put together and problem research, analysis, and reviews for regional and worldwide human rights mechanisms.
The physique will assist develop nationwide applications, initiatives, and methods, and contribute to the alignment of laws with worldwide legislation to guard human rights.
From the angle of civil society, the Association will contribute to the promotion of a tradition of human rights and the consolidation of its values and ideas in society; and organise associated coaching programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences, and native, regional, and worldwide occasions.
It will obtain and observe up on complaints with the related authorities and coordinate with the related authorities for subject visits.
