New Jersey to host 2026 FIFA World Cup closing

The 2026 FIFA World Cup closing can be performed at MetLife Stadium on July 19 in New Jersey, FIFA introduced Sunday.

The New York/New Jersey space was competing with AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for the chance to stage the historic closing.

The US, Mexico and Canada are co-hosting the World Cup, which is able to broaden from 32 individuals to 48 for the primary time and have 104 whole matches.

Canada will open its event on June 12 in Toronto’s BMO Field. The staff will then fly west and play its closing two group-stage matches at BC Place in Vancouver on June 18 and 24.
