UAE sends support to flood-hit Seychelles

The UAE has dispatched a airplane carrying 50 tonnes of meals provides to assist individuals affected by the current floods within the Seychelles.

The plane was despatched in coordination with a number of humanitarian establishments within the UAE.

Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Development Affairs, mentioned that the UAE’s newest initiative underscores its deep-rooted relations with Seychelles, in addition to its dedication to fulfilling its humanitarian obligations.

“The UAE remains steadfast in its humanitarian commitments, offering continuous support to ease the impact of various crises. The UAE’s humanitarian response aims to deliver essential food, medications and various relief supplies, tailored to the specific needs of each crisis,” he added.
