Five UAE support planes arrive in Benghazi

Five planes, carrying three rescue groups and medical support, arrived at Libya’s Benina Airport as a part of the air bridge launched by the UAE to assist these affected by the devastating floods. 

The 64-member emergency crew will begin aiding Libyan authorities within the search and rescue mission to seek out hundreds who went lacking within the floods. 

So far, the UAE has despatched 200 tonnes of reduction support by way of eight plane to the African nation. 

It is a part of efforts by the UAE authorities to help the nation after Storm Daniel wrecked havoc killing hundreds and destroying infrastructure.

Thousands of individuals have been confirmed lifeless, with the Libyan authorities saying the toll may attain 20,000.
