DEWA, Masdar signal settlement to construct Dubai photo voltaic park’s sixth part

DEWA and Masdar have signed an settlement to implement the sixth part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park at a price of AED 5.51 billion.
The facility in Dubai is the world’s largest single-site photo voltaic park.
Its sixth part will present vitality to over half 1,000,000 residences whereas decreasing carbon emissions by 2.36 million tonnes yearly.
The completion of all phases of this large venture is anticipated by 2030, with a complete funding of AED 50 billion.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, witnessed the signing of the settlement between DEWA and Masdar on Wednesday.
He stated, “Our goal is to achieve 100 per cent clean energy for Dubai by 2050.”
