Arsenal have signed Spain’s World Cup-winning defender Laia Codina from Barcelona, the Women’s Super League (WSL) membership stated on Tuesday.
Codina, 23, began all 4 of Spain’s knockout video games on the World Cup which resulted in a 1-0 win over England within the remaining earlier this month.
The centre again has seven caps for Spain and made 32 appearances for Barcelona, successful two Champions League trophies and three LaLiga titles since becoming a member of in 2019. She additionally spent the 2021-22 season on mortgage at AC Milan and performed 14 instances.
