Heathrow Airport says flight schedules stay severely disrupted following a technical downside with air site visitors management that left 1000’s stranded.
Air site visitors was closely restricted throughout the challenge, which has led to a knock on impact with flights being delayed for as much as 12 hours.
Heathrow Airport has apologised for any inconvenience as passengers fumed in regards to the lack of communication throughout the disruption.

Posting on X, formally generally known as Twitter, a Tweet learn: “We apologise for any inconvenience as a result of the NATS technical issues today. The issue has been resolved however schedules remain significantly disrupted. If you are travelling on 29th August, please ensure you contact your airline before travelling to the airport.”
Heathrow Airport is advising travellers to solely go to the airport if their flight is “confirmed to be operating.”
