Biker fined AED 50,000 for stunts on Dubai roads

A motorcyclist has run into hassle for performing stunts on public roads in Dubai.

The man was tracked down by Dubai Police shortly after a video of his stunts went viral on social media platforms.

“The video captured a motorcyclist engaging in dangerous behaviour, riding amidst vehicles and performing stunts on one wheel, putting their safety and that of other road users at serious risk,” stated Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic.

The bike has been impounded and the biker has been fined AED 50,000 and docked 23 black factors.

Maj. Gen. Al Mazroui stated motorcyclists had been concerned in as many as 22,115 violations over the previous seven months, whereas 858 bikes had been confiscated.
