Watch: Reckless driver fined AED 50,000, 23 black factors

A motorist has been pulled up by Dubai Police for tailgating and overtaking in a harmful method on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

Traffic patrol officers intently monitored and recorded the driving force’s actions and selected the suitable second to convey him to a protected cease.

The police launched a video displaying the motorist driving dangerously near the opposite car and braking a number of occasions after overtaking it.

The car has been impounded, whereas the driving force has been fined AED 50,000 and slapped with 23 black factors.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, mentioned the driving force’s behaviour violates public requirements and the rights of highway customers.

He pressured that nobody is above the legislation, and added that aggressive driving behaviour demanded resolute motion, resulting in the implementation of Decree No. 30 of 2023 regarding site visitors violations and the impoundment of automobiles.
