The UAE’s Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has inaugurated the 47 prefabricated unit Al Naqa’a housing mission in Syria’s Latakia Governorate.
It follows the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in April to construct 1,000 prefabricated housing items in seven areas within the Latakia, value AED 65 million, to help Syrian households affected by the earthquake that hit the nation in February.
The housing mission was inaugurated to mark World Humanitarian Day.
Hamoud Al Junaibi, appearing ERC Secretary General, mentioned the two-bed items can be powered by photo voltaic vitality, and may accommodate six folks.
