Watch out for rolling street closures in Dubai on Thursday as a part of the opening stage of the UAE Tour Women biking occasion.
Traffic can be halted in phases from 12:00 pm to make approach for the 109 km race, which begins at Port Rashid and ends at Dubai Harbour at about 4:30 pm.
The riders will weave via town passing via Ras al Khor, Meydan Racecourse, Umm Suqeim and Dubai Sports City.
The street closures can even have an effect on elements of Deira, International City, Al Khail Road, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Nad Al Sheba, Hessa Street and King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Street, amongst others.
The inaugural version of the Women’s UAE Tour, which runs from February 9-12, options 4 phases.
It takes place forward of the fifth version of the boys’s race, which runs from February 20-26.
