UAE President appoints Sheikh Zayed as Chairman of National Media Office

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal legislation establishing the National Media Office and appointed Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan as its Chairman.
The legislation states that the National Media Office will report back to the Minister of the Presidential Court and can be financially and administratively unbiased in fulfilling its duties and mandate.
The new entity goals to additional develop the UAE’s media ecosystem and to strengthen the place of its media sector regionally and internationally.
It may even be answerable for creating and implementing nationwide media insurance policies; proposing, creating and reviewing media legal guidelines; and coordinating with related media stakeholders to align the nation’s media imaginative and prescient.
